steering wheel question

I think theyre identical because we took a steeringwheel out of killingcivics mk2 jetta and put it in an mk3 GTI to move it around.
 
dammit how many times do i have to say it a MK2 Hub (big shaft) which is 90-92 hub will fit a Mk3 golf - jetta till the year 99



the hub number should be 8014 if its that number on the hub it fits from 90-99
