my vw des source oil change experience

so i did my oil change last friday at vw garage on st-charles they tech noticed i'm missing lots of oil, engine was rough on idle since i had got it back from sources...now it drives mint and not only that, the plastic cover under the engine bay was missing 4 screws!
So vw des sources does'nt only screw up on parts and service they screw up everything! even your car! :bigup: funny thing is the tech told me he gets customers comming from sources fuming in anger and said take ur car to any vw dealer but sources if u want it to survive!
 
Dave @ VW Vaudreuil FTW. I switched from Sources a few years ago. Luckily your dub wasn't damaged.

You may know this already, but you can don't have to do your maintenance at the dealer. Just keep your receipts in case you have a warranty claim and you need to prove that regular maintenance was done.
 
please, if anyone has a VW do NOT go to vw des sources for maintenance. i'm pretty sure everyone here is aware of this but it must be said time and time again for people not to be screwed over like you.

u guys are so harsh...maybe u were missing oil because ur boosting like crazy burning it away..dunno...weird, we're actually one of the better dealers in quebec with service. and we were actually awarded the Wolfsburg crest couple weeks ago for our outstanding work...
 
I don't understand how you guys win all those awards if we see these threads popping up all the time? It's nothing personal but I definately wouldn't trust my car over there.

I usually go to Prestige because it's close and I get a ride from my dad. If not, Vaudreuil would be my first choice. Nothing against Prestige, either, just their service depo is a little unorganized.
 
guys pls... modification not welcomed to dessources.... no modification no problem at sources... so stop bashing for nothing... i know some good guys from there...
 
Why is that, though? If every other dealer accepts and appreciates modded cars, wouldn't you rather go there for service? Just because you know guys from there doesn't mean the service is good. Like I said, it's no personal attacks, I brought my car there once and it was the last time.

I can see with the attitude of the guy who works there who posted above, he really doesn't like young guys and assume's it's the clients fault instead of taking responsibility. C'est la vie, right?
 
look, i'm not bashing i'm just talking from bad personal experiences when my car was not modified. personally i do not like them, not saying they're bad guys just that i expect a lot from service techs and i have only met my expectations at vaudreuil, and the pre prestige service shuffle.
