98 Vr6 Rpm Signal wire ??

can someone plz tell me where the signal wire for the rpm gauge is on a 98 Vr6 ?? i have an after market gauge that i wanna install because i have a 8v cluster and a Vr engine in my mk2 , Now some plz tell me where i get the signal wire from so i could install this gauge

im not sure but i thinck its the green wire from the cluster wiring or maybe the little red wire on the alternater ...

there is no signal going to the cluster thats why i got a aftermarket gauge ,mk2 clusters and vr6 engines dont work together
