:cry:I was on the way to a job interview when i hit a pot hole and i cracked my oil pan.Problem is i didn't notice it right away because i had my music to loud and my engine ran out of oil and seized:cry::cry: But on a brighter note i get my 1.8t swap alot quicker now.:run::D. In the mean time though does anyone know how much a 1.8,2.0,or if not to expensive a 16v would run me??? Also are there any mods required to swap a 2slow into a cl frame, as well as a 16v into a mark 3 cl frame??/
 
10gs for an engine with papers is believable
that's why the market is so hot for stolen engine... now u know

let's just hope for 10gs that engine comes with mods :dunno:

edit: ok i guess it comes with alot.... u guys are posting faster then i can post :p
 
because of the money, if i do everything in one shot i save the hundreds, even thousands in labor time. You know how much time it takes to remove a tranny and do a clutch kit. Its alot easier when its out of the car. Plus my parents said they would buy my replacement engine for now. I just got to pay the install.
 
ahhh yaaa thats true.

well if your parents are going to buy your replacement engine then thats alright I guess. save up some mullaa
 
ya man and its actually a good blessing i'm getting a 16v to replace my 1.8 8v, who knows i might keep the 16v.

for a legit TT 225 K04 sds and fmic all installed and tuned? I know dan pretty well at htt but I find it very hard to beleive anybody would do that kind of swap for that price.
