hey guys, im really interested in buying an integra this summer, between a 97-99. i was wondering if any of you guys here have had any major trouble with them, and how are the insurance for you guys? im 19 and never had any tickets. im looking forward for your comments, thanks :)

EVEN IF YOU NEVER HAVE TICKET IT WILL AT LEAST COST YOU BETWEEN 1600 AN 2200$ PER YEAR FOR THE INSURANCE.

IT IS BETTER TO BY A SEDAN (TEG 4 DOOR) LESS EXPENSIVE FOR THE INSURANCE

GOOD LUCK

If your going to get a teg and you have the spare cash or loan, I would say go with the GSR.. Its got the best bang for the buck, but its a little more expensive than the everyday TEG out there!
Hey all you TEG EXPERTS out there, from the outside how can you tell its a GSR compaired to the rest! I line up with them all the time and I never know! thanks!!!

Well from the outside, you can't tell unless the car is totally stock, then just looking at the mags but anyone with a RS Integra RS can put GSR mags on it. There is a sun roof on the GSR but some other Integra models have it as well like the GS. Basically, you can't really tell from the outside.

For the other question now. There is no problems with Integras what so ever. Nothing is weak on those cars except the body rusts so be carefull for rust in the quarter panels (where the bumper meets the quarter) and the trannys are a little weak on the synchos.

exactly beware of that
my integra has 214 000km and i beat it some time, just to say that my car 215 000 at the moment beat a 2.2 ecotec but it was an alero, a pro gm guy that thinks honda sucks
anyway rust and tranny are both things i find that are weak to a certain extend, my syncros are actually better than my 96 rs with 142000km that i had before
just keepo your car clean, and get the rust fixed right away when it starts
oh yea there is an integra crew also;)

yeah and if you bought 97 all the suspension bushings should be fine.

join the integra crew when you'll have your teg.
