Quiet Muffler

wuz up guys---

im looking for a quiet muffler --- not a straight through stainless steel pipe (resonater) that jus makes noise

--95 civic hb--

if anybody can help with brand names dynomax, greddy and model info or feedback on their own setups
i would like a bolt on axle back (rear section) or universal muffler

as for quiet i mean, some sound but cop friendly :D

p.s. if somone has something for sale or knows someone who does pm me --- not lookin to spend $400 on mugen (though they r f**kin nice) :bigup:

also does anybody know if a oem exhaust from a teg or sir will fit on my hatch

Greddy sp is amazing! Wish they still made it for my year its like stock while driving normally and has a deep low growl while in whole open throttle! I have a greddy mx and right now it is loud casue of no cat ;) but with the stock cat on its pretty quiet...even with my header on!

as well you might wanna look into dc sports! I dont know if they makle one fore your car but the twin loop system is amazing and a bonus its all stainless steel from the cat back and its polished! Thats amazing specially for us and our roads and the salt and crap that floats around!
 
twin54 >thanks for your help but greedy, dcsports, and mugen are out of my budget and i am not into 4" outlet pipe diameters i dont mind chrome and polished stainless steel but i am hoping for an axle back solution that makes a little or some sound for a fair price ( $200-250)

J'ai acheter un Vibrant single tip modele 1001 j'espere que ca va etre pas trop pire. Je vais pouvoir en parler sous peu la yé pas installer!!
 
Oui, bien j'ai essayer 3 modèles différents, et vraiment..
C'étais l'appel de la nature... tu te posais quasi une pancarte
arrêté moi s'il vous plait, sur l'auto!

Hehe, Vibrant.. sa porte son nom.. sous une auto.. sa VIBRE! ;)
 
Ouin, t'avais quoi comme ligne. P-e que ca fera une difference, je vais etre 2 pouce et quart.
 
Moi c'étais 2" et quart aussi, straight, avec un header 4-1.


Mais, je te garantis que sa va beaucoup gronder.. tu va voir! ;)
 
hehe les boyz jpeux reconfirmer que ca va gronder en tabarnik :eek1: J'ai présentement une ligne 2 1/4 avec un muffler vibrant sur un civic avec JDM GSR pas de cat :D pis ca gueule en cliss ca pas d'allure.....mais jme fait pas achaler pour autant, faut juste ti y aille ben mollo quand ya un cochon dans le boute pis tu shift a comme 3k max pis moi j'ai pas de prob..........sauf que je regarde pour en mettre un plus silencieux ca commence a me tomber sur les nerfs a longue...vraiment bruyant....mais comme g dit pas de cat ca fait pas mal plus de noise......
 
Moi j'ai garder mon cat contrairement a vous deux pis le son est sharp a date. J'avoue que quand je lui pese dessus y gronde mais comme JDMcivic a dit en shiftant intelligemment ya moyen de le faire taire un brin. C'est installer de cet apres midi pis :bigup:
