According to the law books ...

It's LEGAL to modify our cars.
It's LEGAL to perform engine swaps.
It's LEGAL to upgrade your vehicle to make XXX horsepower.

During the swaping of engines for example, would you need to remove our current exhaust and install the swapped engines exhaust, or the vehicle's exhaust to conform with the laws?

If modifing a vehicle that was N/A to turbo application, would it be LEGAL to increase the diameter of the exhaust line?

Would you need to swap the braking system from that vehicle use in the engine swap to conform to the books?

Are aftermarket braking systems considered legal?

When modifing a vehicle, is there another inspection that can be done to prove our vehicles are legal?

Is the gov't thinking about offering this type of inspection?

When you go and get an SAAQ inspection and pass, their inspection it is only to make sure your vehicle is safe and 'fit' for driving (brake checked, gas leaks, suspension, tire wear, rust check ...)

is there a MUC / RCMP listing for how many tickets have been issued for modifed cars in Quebec?
Does the general public know how much these tickets and contestments are slowing down our system.
Court dates almost 2 years from the date issue?
It's something that needs to be made public.

How are the current actions helping to protect our public?
What are police suppose to do?
Serve and Protect?
How are they doing that by issuing tickets for exhausts?
With so many drug dealers, shootings, accidents and murders weekly, all around montreal, laval and the south shore, you'd think they would not have time for muffler tickets.

I remember 2 months ago I heard something about the MUC Requiring 100 more police officers.
They needed like 40 million dollars from the budget of Quebec.

Thanks and good luck to all tuners contesting tickets.
