License Plate Question

I have heard a bunch of things about license plates and the Neon frames around them. What is the law exactly? some one told me that you cant cover the "Je me souviens"
another person told me they are too bright, or to dim. or you cant have color lights...
so what is it exactly?

the law is, if you have a neon around you're license plate, you're a ricer!

tu peux cacher le je me souviens, ca arrive de pogner des tickets pour ca mais y ce trompe, par contre tu ne peux pas cacher le quebec, souvent les pubs de dealers (surtout les premiers) caches le quebec et ca c'est illegal.

You cant hide "Quebec" but you can hide the "Je me souviens".

If you put a neon plate, you must retain your factory lights that light up your plate.

The neon plate must not flash in any way, as it could be mistaken as a emergency vehicle light.
