ok so heres what hapened..las i was leaving work today (headed north on a one way street) an officer pulls me over to give me a muffler ticket!

upon further review of this ticket i noticed that the officer wrote that i was on a different street!

on the ticket it states the officer stoped me on the west side of the street headed north, but the street that he said i was on (on the ticket) only heads south!

is there anything i can do with this? n i know my muffler is legal because the car was inspected with it on when i got it from the states!

someone please help me with this! all these tickets we are getting for mufflers are bullshit!
i once had an officer let me go cause he was gonna investigate whether the car was inspected or not and if i was lying hed send the ticket in the mail and i never received it!

thanks alot in advance guys

What does it matter wich direction you were on?.
Its irrelevant. You should focus on what the police officer did to find proof that your muffler was illegal.
Didi he look inside with a flashlight. Jam a mesuring tape in it, coat hanger wire?.
Did he take pictures. Those are the important things.

And inspection for mufflers are worth about as much a a pound of sand in the desert.

he stuck the mesuring tape, no pics and i dont know if he used his flashlight because he didnt want me to get out of the car!

ive heard of people using this to discredit the police officer in court...
what they do is ask them if they made any mistakes that day, and when they say no, you say then how come you made a mistake on the direction i was headed, and then he will say something along the lines of "small errors do happen" to which you just reply then its possible that on that day you made another mistake in checking if my exhaust was legal....
its a longshot... ive never done it but ive heard of people who have

dont base your story with something that you heard from someone who knows womeone who knows someone who tried it.

it's not a murder case so these little tricky questions wont really save you. you'll have to prove that your muffler is legal if legal if you want to get away with it.
