Another exhaust question.

Currently my exhaust line has a hole in it (happened yesterday - sounds terrible today). It really sounds like a really huge fart can, thus, attracting the wrong attention.

So here's my dilema. I did however change the muffler about 5/6 months ago to a dynomax (which is the exact same dimensions of my OEM muffler - horizontal muffler). Would there be a cop to think this noise might be coming from my setup? Will I get penalized?

I'm going tomorrow to a shop but I got to drive home today and I'm kind of worried. I'm lowered fairly low (not rubbing) and I have wheels so... I guess I'm stuck between a rock and a hard place?

You have to drive the car to a shop, what do you want us to tell you? If you get pulled over, you get pulled over, if you don't, you don't.

Hah, no I understand :p I'm just saying, would I able to say I'm going on monday to get it fixed and not get anything for it?

If you aredealing with normal police yes, but if you are dealing with Montreal police, then no.

normally you would have a ticket for a noisy muffler

and just a warning for a broken muffler....because shit happens

but installing a noisy muffler is not supposed to happen

My muffler isn't noisy. Both my parents told me they didn't hear a difference. It's only when I get past 3,500 rpms do you hear it. Anyways, I didn't get caught on the way home and I'm going tomorrow to get it fixed. The place is 3/4 minutes away so yeah. Thanks
