Tonight, my family went to visit a relative at the Royal Victoria Hospital. For those who know where F Pavilion is or the street leading to the emergency room, there is a construction site. So my father decided to park there, and like anyone else, park it halfway onto the "sidewalk".

("Sidewalk" means bullbozers have already removed the cement so not much evidence of sidewalk left.)

Guess what... After visiting a sick relative at the hospital, we find a pointless ticket for parking onto the sidewalk. :dunno: What sidewalk? there's a 40 fcuking feet hole beside the so-called sidewalk.

It's not like we can't afford 52$. For fcuk's sakes. The tax collector, driving around a POS red Aveo, handing out tickets to sick patients' relatives at 10pm on a Sunday night. And worst, to hand out tickets outside the emergency room. I wish those ignorant fcuktards suffer in terminal cancer. Code de la Sécurité Routiere my big fat butt. I'd like any policeman to come here and explain to me :

1. How a car parked on a flattened sidewalk can endanger lives?
2. What is the definition of a sidewalk?

Because a strip of concrete level to the asphalt is clearly not a sidewalk to me.

Parking tickets have nothing to do with the CSR.

Your father knew it was illegal to park there.

There was no way to know that whoever owned that car was going to the hospital to visit someone.

It still sucks to get a parking ticket.

- Paint the person doing his job giving out tickets as evil : check.
- Make the person receiving the ticket looking like a victim : check.

Your story reeks of manipulation. The fact is, you can't park on sidewalks, it's municipal law and has nothing with endangering lives and more to do with not monopolising sidewalk realstate.

Next time, park in the streets where it's allowed.

hi, i got a question:

Who gives a flying **** if you have a sick relative you'e going to see?

Oh hey, i'll drive 220 km/h on the driveway because I wanna go see a sick relative at the hospital. Cops better not give me a ticket, that would be IMMORAL. waaaaaaaammmmmmbulance!
