Wrong name on ticket?

A friend of mine got a ticket today from the SQ. The car is registered in her dads name. Her dad was not with her when she got the ticket. The following is on the ticket:

- her dad's name (with a Mme in the beginning)
- Her address
- her license number

So, is this a good enough reason to not pay and contest... The views of someone with experience similar to above would be appreciated..

no man, if the plate number on the ticket matches your car then
u can do nothing about it.
 
It depends on what type of ticket it was. Some tickets go to the owner of the car (mostly for non-conformities of the vehicle). If it was a speeding ticket or something driving related, then they accused the wrong person and it should be fought. Send me a PM if you need some help.
