Hello there

I was wondering if it would be a good idea to use my stock wheels this winter and get some nice ones next summer ?

Questions:
- Wheels look fragile is it a bad idea? any product to protect them?
- Is it wrong if i put 15'' steelies?, do i have to go with higher tire ?

you can go with a 15" setup on steelies
stock you're 205/55/16

in 15" you could get away with 195/65/15 (only .4% - difference)or 205/60/15 (only .8% + difference)

use this link if you're having any doubts
195-65 is going to give you the 'closest' accurancy with the speedometer

Just make sure sure with an Acura Dealer that 15" will fit over the caliper- pretty sure their identical to 06 Civic. I know that the 06+ Civic have same rim/tire size and can 'downgrade' to a 15" for winter

As for the strength of the OEM rims, they are normally cast very strong. I have not heard of any cracking of OEM rims from Acura / Honda family, only aftermarket ones. But nothing is impossible
