Honda Civic SI HFP

So im looking to buy myself a honda civic si sedan and was looking at the options (hpf) that come with the vehicle. From the little research ive done, I discovered that the sports muffler just ads a bit of sound but no power, which does not seem worth it to me as I can just get an after market for less that may perform better.

The second option, which is the reason for my starting this discussion, is the sports suspension. What people have said in other forums is that its mainly to lower the car, not very worth it.

The question is what do you guys know about these two options? are they worth it?

The good thing about these upgrade is that they come from the factory , so it is legal.

But you can get aftermarket parts that will out perform these original items ! It all depends on what you plan for this car. Street only or maybe sport lapping at a local track....

If you are not planning to bring the car to a track then the HPF options are what you need : it give you agressive looking, improve handling without reducing comfort that much and it give you a really nice sound minus the police attention.

The HFP suspension upgrade consist of 4 stuts and 4 coils. It will lower your ride by 1'' only. It's a tuned suspension specifically designed for the Civic Si. I never tried if but the reviews are great. For 612$ at collegehillshonda, it's a bargain.

the dealership charges 1500... if it was 600 I would get it but I dont know if its worth that price
