I'm selling my 2000 Golf GL 2.0 (2 door) with just under 128,000kms. Car has been babied since I've had it and is one of the cleanest ones around. Car was stored for the last two winters and has absolutely ZERO traces of rust forming anywhere. All scheduled maintenance done, as well as the following:
-@ 70,000km: 4X Rotors & Pads
-@ 80,000km: 2X Front Wheel Bearings
-@ 95,000km: Timing Belt w/ Water Pump
-@120,000km: Rear Axle Beam Bushings
-@127,500km: Full tuneup, brakes bled, new spark plugs + wires
VIN starts WVW, meaning this car was one of the rare ones still built in Germany. The 2.0L motor is economical, all while still retaining enough pep in city conditions or when needing to pass on highways. Vehicle was never beaten or raced, as the 2,0L is simply not made for this. All mods where done to alter the look of the car and to tighten up the handling. Here are the mods on it:
-Clear sidemarkers
-White LED exterior & interior markers
-Freedom Designs Cold Air Intake
-Audi TT short shifter
-16" BBS RXII Wheels
-20mm rear spacers
-Patec Holeshot coilovers
-CheckTemp II interior/exterior temp gauge
-Panasonic CD/MP3 Head Unit
-VW Monster Mats
-Neuspeed Front Strut Brace
-Eurosport Rear Strut Brace
-Hella RCCR Tails
-JOM Stubby Antenna
-Joey-Modded Headlights
-Kamei Eyelids
-Textured rubstrips
Please note that since the pictures have been taken, all rubstrips have been textured black, and both valences back to stock. The car now has a very clean OEM+ look. I believe that this car is ideal as it sits, or should you wish, the perfect platform for take it to the next level (performance wise). All the essential building blocks are there though (solid German build, proper maintenance, no abuse, impecable rust free body).
I am selling the vehicle as my girlfriend and I only need one car for the two of us, and I will be getting a motorcycle for myself. The sale will include four winter tires and steel rims. Feel free to ask me questions, as I may have forgotten some details.
Price: $7,500 firm or Suzuki DRZ-400 SM motorcycle (to be discussed)
