Ok so after doing the research I concluded that I will need 2005 Acura RSX Type S, since they brought too many improvements in 2005. However, I read people's comments about this car. Peak HP and torque at about 7k-7.5k RPM. I mean, I never had Hondas, I know they work well on high RPM, but as an engineer, my heart will bleed when taking car to 7k rpm, I usually never go over 6-6.5.

So, I started thinking about regular RSX, less powerfull but the peak is at 4k-4.5k, better gas consumption rate, and MUCH MUCH cheaper.

So my question is, should I pay 5k$ more, to get some mystical "210hp at 7k rpm", or I will not notice any difference at 4-5k rpm? What else is an important change in type S which I will not get in RSX Premium? (apart of intake exhaust, engine and gearbox of course). Is there any substantial difference in interiour/suspension worth 5k?

Thanks for an advice

it worth the extra 5k$ . That's what i have, and the car always asks to go higher... you'll reach the cut off before your heart have the time to bleed.. and then you'll feel the I-Vtec technology...

With the K20, fun starts at 6,000 RPM. You will understand when you'll test drive your first RSX-S. After that, you will not even think about getting the base model.

I would go with the type s for sure, bringing a k20a2 to 7k rpm won't hurt it at all, and there is soo much potential with that car.

Unless you don't care at all about the power then you would be better off saving the 5k and getting a base model, still a nice car.
