S15 front end on a 180sx, fact or fiction??

I noticed on this month's issue of Superstreet that there were
2 "1995 JDM 180SX drift machines" They each have a silvia S15
front end on them... were these cars converted or did that car
actual come with an S15 front???

PS. these are JDM 1995 180SX, and not the ones we had.

If anyone knows anything about this... plz let me and everyone
on this forum know.

But its ****EN EXPESIVE and SO USELESS

I agree the cost to convert it is too high, but wouldn't it be nice if it came that way from the factory??? oh yeah, you know it!!!

the conversion goes for about 2 000 $ USD at extreme dimentions .. wich is what ill probebly do
 
The S15 conversion may seem a little steep but there is no other look like it. It is my favorite front end.

Does anyone know why its called a strawberry conversion? ive alwasys wondered that.

i got this from the Bomex Aero website

"S15 face on 180SX also possible on S13, S14. "15", one five is pronouced "Ichi-Go" which is also means strawberry in Japanese. Get it?"
 
does anyone have any idea what a 180sx is?
its basically any 89-93 fastback 240sx
S13 silvia = 89-93 usdm coupe 240sx
S14 silvia = 95-98


NOW you want the look the of a Ichi-go or as its worded from japanese a 1....5

the front end swap done properly will cost around 6K
done shitty looking will cost around 4K
 
2000$USD for a s15 front conversion on a 240sx fasback ?

is it 2000usd installed or just the parts cost 2k usd.

and how much would it be on a s14?
