Hey people ,

I'm finally going to cuba with the wife and kids and wanted to know if any of you have any cuban convertable pesos leftover ? and if you're willing to sell them ?

please let me know what you have or if you can help out !

No one here is going to do that!

Just go to the Customs House on St. Jean and get your money exchanged at the going rate.
 
I think it will be cheaper if he does it in cuba as that currency is not supposed to leave the country.

I was in Cuba in January and you don't want to be flashing Canadian and/or American cash there so do it here!!!

first - the ONLY place you can get CC is in cuba, so no, they won't give you convertible pesos on st john's

second - DO YOU KNOW HOW SAFE CUBA IS. he's going with his wife and kids, and i'm assuming staying on a resort in varadero, cayo coco, etc, and not on the streets of havana....
 
i got a few pesos , but not enough . So i'm giving this a bump . Even if you have 20 pesos left , i don't care , i'll buy them off you . thanks !!

This is one kid that has no idea of what he's talking about...

You won't be able to get money outside of the island, unless you do it the same way he is doing it right now... Flashing Canadian money won't change shit, it's not Jamaica or Haiti over there, it's Cuba! It's very safe!

At any airport there is a exchange service, and there is also usually one at your hotel. Usually it's a bit cheaper to change your money at the hotel, but it always vary... So it's a risk to take!

Have a good vacation my man, if you want to make a few bucks on cigars just let me know, i'm always a buyer!

First of all you can not get convertable pesos anywhere but on the island. This currency is worth 0$ outside of Cuba.

Second of all, Cubans can do very little with Canadian money, except ask Canadians to exchange it for them, and American money is banned on the island, so can't be used anywhere.

Only american money used over there is when you pay by credit cards, they charge you in US money.

Stop pretending you're the shit.... well... you're shit, just not THE shit.
