or

Samsung 40" 1080p 60hz Flat-Panel LCD HDTV 799 $


is the 120hz worth paying 150$ more or the difference is peanuts?

120hz is the shizzle on my nizzle, couldn't live without it, go with the philips.

what will you be watching?

Too many people buy their TV according to specs and don't take into account what they will be using it for.

PS why these 2 TVs?

I can afford both, the phillips is actually 99$ more then what I posted (shipping).

The thing is I don't spend money for nothing... for 1099 if it would have been a samsung I would have taken it right away....but a phillips....not too sure about it...

I'd get the sammy =) but wait it out a little if u can, new OLEDs will bring these prices down.
