Where to find Gas Lift

Where can I find gas lift? I am looking for small one. The ones for hoods, trunks or doors are too strong for my application.

What I am looking for is somewhat like the pistons in toolbox lids

Canadian tire has some, but you need to know the part #, I bought one for a celica and installed it on my car.

Ces't pour ouvrir un couvercle d'une boite a outil. Donc, une force de 20lbs est suffisante.
 
Found it guys at Home Depot 17lbs of force perfect for my application.

Gas lift are commonly used to help in opening trunks on hatch or minivans.

They are also used in kitchen cabinets that open upwards such as this

avais tu vu les petits de addison ? c'est ceux la que j'ai pris dans mes projets j'en ai meme fitter un pour le couvercle d'un case Pelican en plastique

prochaine fois je passe au Home Depot m'a les regarder si c'est comme la photo la finition est tres belle m'a en avoir besoin pour faire lever un ecran lcd touchscreen 15 pouces dans un projet que j'ai en developpement presentement
