Giant spider's web baffles experts

SpiderWeb_450x300.jpg

A sprawling spider's web that blankets several trees, shrubs and the ground along a 180m stretch of park trail has experts stumped.

The huge mosquito trap was a big attraction for some visitors and a no-go area for others, officials at Lake Tawakoni State Park in Texas said yesterday.

'At first, it was so white it looked like fairyland,' said Donna Garde, superintendent of the park.

'Now it's filled with so many mosquitoes that it's turned a little brown. There are times you can literally hear the screech of millions of mosquitoes caught in those webs.'

The mystery pink light that appeared over London

While a pink sky at night might be a shepherd's delight, London residents were left scratching their heads last night as a mysterious pink cloud drifted over the city.

Bemused bystanders in Mayfair craned their necks to witness the strange alien-like cloud that appeared for just under an hour at around 8:30pm.

It hovered over buildings before breaking up and slowly disappearing.

'Vampire' discovered in mass grave

mg20126985.200-2_300.jpg

A SKELETON exhumed from a grave in Venice is being claimed as the first known example of the "vampires" widely referred to in contemporary documents.

Matteo Borrini of the University of Florence in Italy found the skeleton of a woman with a small brick in her mouth (see below) while excavating mass graves of plague victims from the Middle Ages on Lazzaretto Nuovo Island in Venice (see second image here).

At the time the woman died, many people believed that the plague was spread by "vampires" which, rather than drinking people's blood, spread disease by chewing on their shrouds after dying. Grave-diggers put bricks in the mouths of suspected vampires to stop them doing this, Borrini says.

Bloop

The Bloop is the name given to an ultra-low frequency underwater sound detected by the U.S. National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration several times during the summer of 1997. The source of the sound remains unknown.

The sound, traced to somewhere around [show location on an interactive map] 50° S 100° W (South American southwest coast), was detected repeatedly by the Equatorial Pacific Ocean autonomous hydrophone array, which uses U.S. Navy equipment originally designed to detect Soviet submarines. According to the NOAA description, it "rises rapidly in frequency over about one minute and was of sufficient amplitude to be heard on multiple sensors, at a range of over 5,000 km." According to scientists who have studied the phenomenon it matches the audio profile of a living creature but there is no known animal that could have produced the sound. If it is an animal, it would have to be, reportedly, much larger than even a Blue Whale, the largest known animal on the earth.[1]

Amityville ghost

In an interview with George Lutz last year, he was asked about this photo, and here is his reply - George Lutz and his family were the ones tormented in Amityville.
The first time that picture was shown was on the Merv Griffin show back in 1979. It was discovered 3 years after it was taken. Gene Campbell, who was a professional photographer, was brought into the house in 1976 when the Warrens went in with their team. He set up an automatic camera on the 2nd floor landing that shot off infrared film, black and white, throughout the night. There are literally rolls of film with nothing on them. There's only one picture of the little boy. In 1979, I was putting together a book that has yet to be published that included the photographs. The secretary I had at the time was about eight months pregnant. We had dozens of these pictures to choose from that didn't have the boy, and she asked me: "Which one should we put in the book?" I told her to just pick one. She came running back into my office about 5 minutes later saying that every time she picked up the photograph with the boy, the baby kicked her. We then asked my kids if they knew who this was. Missy said it was the little boy she used to play with in the house. I then called the Warrens and the photographer and let them know about the picture."

dyatlov-pass-accident-discovered-tent-1.jpg

The Dyatlov pass accident
In 1959, nine experienced Russian cross-country skiers — seven men and two women, led by a man named Igor Dyatlov — headed to the Ural Mountains, to a slope called Kholat Syakhl (Mansi language for "Mountain of the Dead," ahem) for a rugged, wintry trek. On their way up, they are apparently hit by inclement weather and veer off course and decide to set up camp and wait it out. All is calm. All is fine and good. They even take pictures of camp, the scenery, each other. The weather is not so bad. They go to sleep.

Then, something happens. In the middle of the night all nine suddenly leap out of their tents as fast as possible, ripping them open from the inside (not even enough time to untie the doors) and race out into the sub-zero temps, without coats or boots or skis, most in their underwear, some even barefoot or with a single sock or boot. It is 30 degrees below zero, Celsius. A few make it as far as a kilometer and a half down the slope. All nine, as you might expect, quickly die.

And so it begins.

Why did they rush out, unable to even grab a coat or blanket? What came at them? The three-month investigation revealed that five of the trekkers died from simple hypothermia, with no apparent trauma at all, no signs of attack, struggle, no outward injuries of any kind. However, two of the other four apparently suffered massive internal traumas to the chest, like you would if you were hit by a car. One's skull was crushed. All four of these were found far from the other five. But still, no signs of external injuries.

Not good enough? How about this: One of the women was missing her tongue.

This is from Art Bell's show

[ame=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mn6HSNHzYZU]YouTube - Art Bell gets a Frantic Call from an Ex-worker of Area 51[/ame]

An e-mail on this video from an avid listener:

"Greetings "Frog"!

I want to take this opportunity to write and clarify some apparent confusions regarding that now "classic" 1997 broadcast and it's aftermath.

I used to be a AVID listener(EVERY NIGHT) before I subscribed to "Streamlink",so was able to catch the initial broadcast AND ALL the subsequent follow-ups too. THIS is what REALLY happened:
1.The caller made that initial call(heard here)which was actually AUDIOTAPED and played SOME years later by Art on the air AT LEAST ONCE. It was only the BROADCAST that was mysteriously interrupted. Art spoke with the caller for MORE than is heard HERE, before he was alerted by the producer that the actual BROADCAST wasn't being received. The COMPLETE conversation I clearly remember listening to some time later. I will discuss THAT a bit later. It was during that initial conversation that Art says the word "discharged". Art was at that time STILL speaking to the caller and was questioning him ABOUT that discharge, evidently expressing DOUBT as to the veracity of the caller's claims and wanting to accentuate this to his LISTENERS, hence Art's PRONOUNCED accent on that particular word just before the broadcast cut off.

2. About a week later, the caller RETURNED, now claiming it was all a HOAX, at which point Art sounded quite RELIEVED.

3. About two years AFTER that initial call, the caller AGAIN returned, now claiming(in great detail)that he had been kidnapped, brainwashed and essentially been made to claim it was all a hoax,by secret agencies inside the govt.
As you would imagine, this totally FREAKED Art(and most of the callers that night).

4.At some point afterward(memory fails me on exactly WHEN)someone CLAIMING to be that caller AGAIN came on the phone with Art, and began a hysterical rant. Art(and most of his listeners)recognised that this caller DIDN'T sound like the same person, and Art-after exchanging a few words with him-promptly HUNG UP.

It was revealed in the audiotape of that complete first call that the responsibility of the "Aliens" entry into our world/dimension rested squarely within the US govt. itself. The caller claimed that secret factions within our military were conducting tests(based on work that had begun with German scientists during WWII)and it was during these "tests" that a portal was opened, allowing their entry. The caller insinuated that communications were made with the "Aliens" for some time PRIOR to their actual ENTRY into OUR dimension, at that PRIOR to their entry, the US govt. was led to believe that the They were NOT a possible threat to national security.

Since these (rightly)classic shows, several factors have come to my attention to make ME believe the caller was GENUINE, not a sham. At least one qualified expert on voice-stress analysis did a reading on that initial call, and declared publicly that he found NOTHING that led him to believe that the caller was making up ANY part of it.
Another factor was the caller's description of those "extra dimensions" in terms that neatly fall into place with what are now called "parallel universes" or the "String Theory", which of course at the time of that broadcast(1997)the general public knew almost NOTHING about. Still ANOTHER reason I believe it's NOT a hoax is the fact that Art Bell has publicly declared he DIDN'T play any part whatsover in it, other than what was heard on-air those nights over that two year period. Art certainly has his faults(I'm NO fan of his "child bride" marriage...especially SO SOON after Ramona's demise)but I sincerely believe in his PROFESSIONAL integrity, and I think most of his listening audience DO TOO!

this is the 2nd time the guy called back

As soon as you get to see something, the guy just decides to make spastic motions with the cam in his hand... "Well, it was a great moment but I just really felt like it. I wasn't even running or anything. Just letting my arm go. Don't know if it's a disorder or anything... just really had to do it."

Vampire thing is interesting. I've always wanted to be able to have like a history PVR and go to any time in history anywhere in the world an just walk around and see what it's like. Invisible ghost style.

Apollon, your posts ure useless in this thread. Instead of asking yourself questions (or posting proof that this kind of stuff dosen't exist - wich I think you believe), you're posting dumb stuff.

I decided to dig a bit into the The Dyatlov pass accident:

The guide was only 23, he can't have been that experienced. They got lost because of bad weather and had to result to stopping for the night.

What would be the state of mind of lost and stranded people in the middle of a frozen country side? They would be "on the edge", sleep nervously and would probably have been arguing a bit among each other to try and find the best way out of this mess.

Night comes, everyone goes to sleep. In this kind of weather condition, you DO sleep with few cloths on in a warm sleeping bag to prevent humidity.

Now, "something" happens. It doesn't have to be supernatural. A military jet that does a low fly-by could be mistaken for an avalanche when you are being waken up in the middle of the night.

The stage is set...

Panic issues. In a small tent, pitch black, light get knocked off. People all start are screaming disorderly orders and the young guide as no more authority, some think (guide included) that an avalanche is rushing towards them and cut their way out of the tent.

A few "lucky" ones get their senses together and stays at the base camp. They get dress up in their warm clothing and realized how wrong the other were. They mount a search party to find the headless chicken that made a dash for it in the middle of the winter night. They get unlucky, a bad fall, maybe an actual avalanche. The described wounds kinda coincide with this. The thick winter clothing could have prevent exterior skin bruising and visible injuries without preventing internal trauma. They were found further away from the others, 2 months later in spring, in a creek. On was missing her tongue and more soft tissues in the mouth, probably eaten by some small animal.

Now why the hell would the others have run 800m in the middle of the night half naked? Maybe because they though an avalanche was coming their way, they made a dash for the woods but misjudged the distance. They realized their error and froze to death trying to make it back to the camp and/or waiting by their puny camp fire.

Mix in this crappy police investigation and human imagination and you have an X-File...

Ah come on... the last one is a meteor shower in reverse...

The one before is pretty cool... but it looks like rocks and sand underwater...

they're all real nasa vids. the curve is the earth. they say it can't be meteors or space debris because the shiny objects change paths, and go against the gravitational pull of the earth.

Are they from NASA - Home But I have to admit they had a lot of budget to make that movie...

A great question people can ask is "Why? Why would the government go to such great lenghts to make us believe in UFO? Is it real, or is it not?"

They do it to drive the young people to answer the question "is it real". Imagine all the kids who became great scientists, or who tried hard, because they saw UFO videos.

To me, it appears to be a very high-budget, real reel film, of a rigged pool with rocks, and people shooting bullets in the water.

i dno, i bet these UFO's are just US govt secret test planes & spacecraft that they say are UFO's to get mislead random people
