CUBA - iberostar varadero & grand playa turquesa holguin

whos been to any of these places ? ive been to both and just wondering what else is out there in cuba. must be a 4-5 star. doesnt matter where in cuba, im looking for a place thats comparable to one these 2 - iberostar varadero & grand playa turquesa holguin

straight from the horses mouth i want to hear it. so if youve been how was your stay, and can you recommend another cuban all inc resort that is same caliber or better.

dont talk to me about anywhere in mexico or dominican. im not interested

The Iberostar is amazing. Just a beautiful,clean and very "grand" resort. The sandals Royal Hicacos next door is also nice, not as nice but close and adults only so no kids screaming in the pool (if that matters to you at all).

Not sure about the other one though..

I stayed in Cayo Coco last year at the NH Krystal and it was amazing.

I've never been to resorts you mentioned though and I've never been to Varadero so I can't really compare. But I've heard from other people that have been to other places in Cuba say that Cayo Coco was the most beautiful.

service was great!

The food.. well.. see, I don't like seafood and the people I was vacationing with do. They said the seafood was incredible. They held a "gala" night outdoors by the pool one night where they served everyone lobster.(see last pic) It was really cool. Other than that, the "a la carte's" were very yummy. I just didn't like the buffet much. For lunch, they have a grill by the beach that has hamburgers and sandwiches. It was very good..

And yeah, the beach... amazing!
