Anyone interested? not many owners here... but who knows :D hehe

i was thinking for the first monday of next month... it would be at the same time as the npclub meet at the julep...

'round 24000... For 44500 KM. VERY clean. Never beaten, never raced. Manual (of course) Charcoal, all options. black leather, 17 in. mags, winter wheels, 48k inspection already done still under warranty.

Sweet car. What 'bout yours?

mine's a US car... bought about 2 years ago... Most likely worth around 10-11k i figure... I haven't really taken the time to really come up with a price ;-)

uhm it's got 106k miles on it... manual... (of course) heh
Once a week i'll push it hard... mainly to clean out the engine and actually get the rpm's up every once and a while... some light to light racing every once and a while also... but that's usually upto the speed limit and that's it.

As for mods... nothing big on the engine...
Just the Y-pipe, b-pipe and cone intake.
Interior mods:
blue leds in the window switches
blue leds in the climate control , hazard switch, defrost switch, door handles.
white leds lighting up the front floor area. (didn't use neons...)
2 color indiglo guages.
white/blue knight rider light in front of my car.

RE950's for traction, along with ok mags...nothing special...
got the front strub bar and rear sway bar installed also :)

I try to keep it as clean as possible. Recently I've been repairing the trunk, since it had rust on the wing area. I've now repaired it and just have to put the wing back on.

very very fun car :)

That sounds cool! How easy it is to replace the leds?? But it doesn't match anymore the radio and climate control right?

The leds take about an hour or 2 to do... it's takes soldering skills though.

it's not very hard to do... just pop open the window switch thingy and unplug it and bring it in your place :)

on the 96 models i know for a fact that the are regular 3mm green leds. So it was an easy switch.

I'm not sure if your model maxima uses those leds, or if it uses the tiny tiny chip leds... like the kind that light our cellphones.

but yeah, it's very soft on the eyes... very nice to look at :)

next up, i'd like to try and make a motorized sun blocker for the back window. Like the BMW 740's have. When it's too bright, just press a button and this window shade thing in the back window comes up. Pretty sweet!

no way? really?? sweet! Man i'm gonna have to take a close look at one, whenever i know someone with one! lol... or goto the dealer... hehe

That's what I did... Went to da dealer and tried it. Now better way 2 know. People seems so afraid of going to the dealers and try cars....

lol i have not been to dealers often... like a couple times, mainly to get things checked out on my car...

So your saying I can just walk in, open the back door of the Max and check it out?

hehe will have to try that :)

Why not... Even further...Try it, why not. Salesman are there for this purpose, make people know cars and sell them. Of course you always have this bastard looking at U like you're the one that rob 'em last week, but... That's life. In that case, my game is very easy, I just tell him HE is not going to sell me a car today, turn around and go to the next salesman and tell him you didn't like to attitude of the first one, beleive me, he second one won't do the same mistake.

oh man! burn! haha that's a very good approach! heh

yeah i dunno... Would they let someone 25 years old walk in and try an expensive maxima... i'm sure he'll be like "why don't you look into this sentra instead" lol... thuogh it doesn't help that i wear a cap... hehe
I'll just do like usually do in such cases,
"what is your profession before i allow you this test drive",
"i sir, am a computer programmer"
"oh ok... lets go... " hehe

i could always try and test drive... but i'd be waaaayyyy to motivated to sell my car to get this one... hehe

If he tells you to try the Sentra, then try this:

"Sir, with all the respect I have for Nissan cars, would you really sell a Sentra to ME? There is a reason why I am here today, sir" Insist on the "ME" ... That's a blast, for sure.

If he ask you about your profession, I always have the same answer... "What if I tell you I am a car salesman, would it mean I have no money to buy a car from U?"... That's another blast...

I don't like to blast people, really not, buy some do deserve it.
