Just wondering what kind of engine swaps are made available for the 2000 sentra. as well as price list and specs. thanks

Bro I wouldn't swap another engine in taht car! its a 2000 GXE and it was grandma driven! you can beat on it for a long time to come! lol save your money for another car later on!

We have to know what engine is in there to start with.

Oh and BTW, Id never put a CA18DET in a 2000 car, I mean, c'mon man.... way too old stuff.

Now, if its an SE, options are SR20DET or SR20VE.

GXE, I say go turbo, it'll be a major pain in the arse putting in another engine, and turbo is the only way to get descent power if your looking for a big change (since you are, because you talked about swaps).

Altima engine.... hope you dont mean V6, cause forget about that.

And as for the "Spec V", btw, its SE-R engine, not spec V engine. And its called a QR25DE.

That would also be a major pain, but... its doable, since you can purchase all the stuff off a totaled SE-R to transfer over. It'll still cost way more than just going turbo IMO.

any questions, just ask away, oh and check out www.npclub.com most answers are already there.

I agree. you'll probably save a lot of money compared to swapping the engine. I think theres a guy on b15sentra.net with a 12 sec turbo gxe.

shit!

Holy crap, hahhah

If your scared by the STOCK flywheel specs of an SR20DET, here is my opinion for you:

CAI
Header
Cat back (2 inch MAX. not sure if it isnt already)

And other bolt ons, should be more than enough for you.

Check out www.b15sentra.net you'll find info on Bolt-ons for the
QG18DE (thats your engine).

If you really own a corolla.. why don't you just get a 20 valve. cheap. easy to drop in, direct fit, no turbo headaches. 160hp 130tq... and revs like mad. awsome engines. Mechanically superiour to honda b16 in just about every way I can think off. Thats if you ahve the car like your profile says... I would love a 93-96 corrola with a 20 vavle... can you say ultimate sleeper?
