Isuzu 16v engines

I was told that Isuzu engines were made by Toyota
and I would like any info on any mods or tips from anyone; if they are actually built by Toyota. I was told that it may be a second or derivitive generation of an MR2 engine. Any info would be greatly appreciated! Thanks!

ummmm...its possible. im pretty sure that Geo Prizms have 4age engines. but i doubt they ever put the 4agze (supercharged) in any other cars...

naaahhhh, I dont think so. Isuzu is a huge company I dont think they would use Toyota engines...but I dont have any data to back that up. Which Isuzu engine? The 1.6 from the Impulse?
