I think my 240 is in pain...HELP!!!

3 things...yup...only 2months with the car and 3 things...lol

Just so u guyz know its a 1991 Manual 240Sx...OK

#1...Every time i hit a bump or even a crack in the road with my right read tire i get this non stop vibration in the car...like it starts to bouce for a second or 2...(and if im shifting and pushing it while i hit the bump its 100X worst)...Also...my buddy said that every time i hit a bump or sumthing he can hear a holow sound comming from the suspension (always rear right)...

#2...When i turn the car on...(only when its cold...never when ive just driven it)...I get this Loud pitchy rotation noise...its actualy really loud...the second i hit the gas (just give it a little rev) the noise stops and i wont hear it untill the next time i turn on the car...

#3...I think this is my timing chain but im not sure...Every time i hit 2 000 RPMs...I hear a chain like sound comming from the engine...Ive also noticed a slight loss of power...I think it might be cause the chain is loose...do I have to chage it?

Basicaly what i wanna know if it anyone knows what these problems are...If they are dangerous (like get them fixed right away!!!) and how much they might cost to fix...

#1 You probably got a blown shock

#2 Sound like a power stering pump problem

#3 Probably low oil pressure causing the timing chain tensionner to not work weel or in need of a tining chain.

Anyway why don't you take it to the dealer or a good nissan garage your car needs a good tune up.

#1 shocks
#2 might be steering pump or a wheel bearing
#3 i dont know how much Km you got on your car but every 240sx over 150 000km get's that noise and its normal its the timing chain that is getting loose at 200 000 to 250 000 you should change the engine or change the chain

#2 is benix in the starter not going back in
#3 is your timing chain is getting loose either because of your tensioner not working right or its just tired of old age.

Go to a good garage. Get a check up. Prepare to spend lots and lots of money.
