The 36AFX61 from Toshiba is a 36-inch flat-screen TV with plenty of features that make it a Best Buy.
The fine pitch flat picture tube is equipped with invar shadow mask for superior heat resistance, so it produces brighter whites, higher contrast, and purer colors than the traditional steel shadow masks. This set also comes with a 3-line digital comb filter with vertical contour correction to improve the horizontal edges and eliminate dot crawl. The audio system boasts 33 watts of total output.
The double baffle cabinet design and Cyclone sub-woofer system provide a true hi-fi experience, complete with simulated surround sound to create a full-bodied, live sound. StableSound automatically evens out the audio volume during louder commercials or programs.
The 36AFX61 has two NTSC tuners, which allow you to view an active picture-in-picture window, complete with sound if you wish. It also offers a nine-window preview option. The convenience features are numerous, including the ability to set your favorite channels for quick access, a previous channel button, a sleep timer that can be set for up to three hours, and memory for the audio/video settings for each input source.
Two sets of component video inputs mean that you can easily switch hook up both a DVD player and a satellite receiver. Additional input jacks are provided to accommodate a VCR, cable box, video game console, and camcorder.
The universal remote control can handle all your audio/video equipment and is back-lit for ease of operation in the dark. The slim silver cabinet has dark gray speakers to either side of the screen, with controls and frontpanel audio/video and S-video inputs located conveniently below the screen.

difference in televisions:
there is a price difference buy my sound system is alot better, and great if u dont plan on purchasing a 600+sound system, the sub in the t.v is incredible,
and also my tv has the picture in picture, its a very cool feature to have especially if u like to watch more than 1 channel at a time,
anyways youre getting all this plus an extended warranty for the future. im selling because i want a plasma t.v
