Capabilities

The Garmin Nuvi 1250 is fixed with a number of super sensible functions; this device has voice prompting mechanisms that advise the user about location names, street names, and where to make turns as the device is being used. The instructional commands are conveyed via an embedded speaker in the device, and the device has touch screen volume controls. When the Garmin Nuvi 1250 is programmed to provide directions to specified locations, if the user changes route the device is adaptable and advises the user of new routes to follow too.

Planning routes with the Garmin Nuvi 1250 has never been more simplistic; this device allows the user to choose what routes are most convenient. The owner of the GPS device can plan routes based on time, on distance, on off road experiences and on fuel efficiency. Potential obstacles can also be averted and the user can choose to avoid tolls, highways and other obstacles via route preference settings.

The Garmin Nuvi 1250 is completely compatible with FM traffic, with MSN Direct®, and Garmin Garage™. The device is outfitted with a speed limit indicating feature, Where Am I?™ capabilities, personalized points of interest features, and the impressive anti-theft features identified in the Garmin Lock™ offering. Along with all of the latter, the Nuvi 1250 is housed with a world travel clock, converters for units and currency, a calculator, and the device supplies picture viewing and navigation capabilities too.

I will let this one go for $150.00
