je voulais me renseigner a propos du t28 que les 240 sx ont au japon ... je voulais savoir si setais possible que je m'en procure un et je voudrais m'informer a propos de leur prix ...
merci :dunno:

Turbo the KA24DE? :D My plan exactly.
I guess pretty much any shop could get you a Garrett T28. But brand new turbos aren't that cheap.

Wouldn't the T28 a little bit on the small side? I mean the KA does have 400cc more volume than the SR20 (yay I know my maths)
Wouldn't using a T3/T4 hybrid yield higher potential? Or just plain more lag?

Could depend on the ultimate goal you have.

Sspikey? somebody back my claim up!

i didnt even knew ther wer ka24det in japan. why dont we import em, instead of sr20 ? more potential with bigger displacement, and the n/a ka does produce more torque than hp

ka24det does not exist, you have to make it.Also refered as KA-T.
ps:t3/4 is a good size up to 450ish hp.the t28 will not get you very far, unless you have modest plans for your car.Even the XSengineering kit uses a t04b, ill have to check it out.

edit:XS uses a t3/4, sorry

by the way, like my man Bubb Rubb said, its all about the flow!A sr at 8000rpm that flows 450cfm(i dunno, random numbers) is the same thing as a ka at 6500rpm flowing 450cfm.

so hez talking about the sr turbo, thats what i first thought

funkcaptain, i wanna know more about the turbostuff you're talking about, could you reffer me to a post or site, or something that can explain me the flows and the size and every little shit you gotta know before purchassing a turbo ?

*cheap plug* Check the faq *end cheap plug*
you can also check how to read compressor maps and with the flow formula look for the ideal turbo, but it takes time.

the ka24de was in japan, it was in some minivans or something like that, but it was a rare motor over there. And lag is overrated. Anyone who knows my setup and knows where I am making boost right now knows its about time, and setup and doing shit right.

The t28 would be a pain in teh ass, cause there is nobody making t25 flanged manifolds for a ka. They are all t3 flanges. so the t28 is a moot point, and just as expensive as a t3-t4.

pic the right trim for the job. its all abooot the trim baby.
