wax question

Hey everybody, Im posting here because I need some advice on some products to give my car a nice wax. Any body know any very good products that will give my car a nice shine, make it smoothe, and remove that sodium from the winter!GRR. Can I find any at canadian tire? I know I would be much better of with a compound done on my car but I don't have the money right now to waist on a compound that why Im posting here maybe you guys can give me some tips! I dont mind doing the work myself even if it takes a few hours. I hope to get some replys!

To make the paint smooth you will need to clay it. You can find the Meguiar's Quik Clay kit at Canadian Tire. It comes with the clay bar, lubricant and microfiber towel. You will be able to clay your car a few times with it.

The clay will properly prepare the paint for a coat of wax.
