wax on plastic trim left over

Friend helped me wax my car two weeks ago and got a few (edit TONS) on the plastic trim of the car. Its not turned white and is impossible to get off. I tried scrubbing like mad and using a pressure washer to no avail.

Anyone have any products or trade secrets to help me out? The wax is just regular Meguiars NXT.

You sure it wasn't there before the NXT ?, NXT doesn't normally leave white residue on black trims, but then again NXT is a cleaner/sealant so it might.

Try using a toothbrush and rubbing alcohol and wipe with a microfiber.
