How do you clean your microfibers ?

I was just wondering... what products do you use to cleam microfiber towels ? is it possible to just wash by hand ?
 
I use the washing machine now with downy, works well and doesn't take away the "microfiberness".
A bit of fabric softener on cold/cold and its all good!
 
You can wash machine microfiber with warm water and soap.

No fabric softeners of any kind should be used as the chemicals clog up the microfibers, making them less effective. Bleach should also be avoided as it corrodes the fibers over time, making them less effective. Ironing is also potentially damaging.

I have close to 50 MF towels for paint, and around 30 for interior.. by hand that will take me as much as detailing a car. :run:

seriously.. it is safe to machine wash a mf towel. it will however leave a greasy residue inside the machine but easy to clean. I prefer to air dry my towels.
 
Not saying it's right, or the best but I wash mine in the machine on cold with tide and dry them in a dryer. They still seems as soft as when I buy new ones.

I don't use fabric softners or anti static sheets.

I've never noticed a residue in my machine. I'll keep an eye out for this.

X2, same procedure and same product. You need to wash warm, otherwise the wax won't go off.

But you need to air dry or at very low temp.
 
Well, with all these replies, basically, wash em however you want and it don't make no difference lol

Very true for the low temp air dry.

J'avais un gallon de Micro-Restore et je peux te dire que le DP enlève mieu les taches. Pour ma part, ca les rammene 100% neuf. Chose que le Micro-Restore ne faisait pas.
