Hi, all!

Not new to the forum, just had to make another account! I have a 2003 Mitsubishi Spyder, which I purchased second hand, privately, about 3 years ago. Although, mechanically, it was in tiptop shape, the previous owner did leave me with a few reparations; inside and out.

I took care of the outside and most of the interior, now I am looking for guidance on how to repair/detail/paint a few scratches on the back of the seats (not leather, by the way), on the doors, near the shifter, etc.

Any recommendations/advice and who to contact?

Thanks in advance!

pictures man! pictures. scratch under seat is not really clear.
Not under; on the back of the seats.

They're just regular scratches. I could take some photos, but I figured everybody would know what those look like, hehe. :dunno:

there's nothing you can do on fabric. you need new trim. You can't buff a seat.

pictures would still help.*tu*

Is it some type of plastic? Either way, cobrAAA is right, you won't be able to remove the scratches. Unless it is a scuff mark, meaning someone may have gotten in the car and they rubbed their shoes or boots on the back of the seat, this will cause some of the rubber from their shoes or boots to transfer to the seat, this can possibly be removed.

I have some interior scratches and stuff too, but not in any noticeable places, I used meguiars interior spray.

I sprayed a lot of it all over spread it around, then sprayed more, it seems to hide the scratches a bit.

When that ran out I used armour all untra shine, it hides the scratches better since its so shiney, But it leaves everything kind of slimy and I didn't really like that.

Thank you! Will give it a try! :bigup:

Uploading pictures of a few of the stuff I was referring to, now. Haven't taken one of the seats, yet. Will be doing that tomorrow.

All these were already present when I purchased the vehicle, so I have no idea what caused them, in-case anyone is wondering/planning to ask.

A closer look;

Those are the same kind of scratches I have in the back of my seats (which, btw, are made in the same type of "material" as the doors).

I also have the following on my right door which, I assume, were made by people rubbing their feet on it, while getting out of the car;
