ok here's what you are gonna need:
1) motor mount kit....hasport or place racing
2) the least hassles would be to get a 1st gen B16a (JDM only)
3) if you get a JDM tranny (J1,S1,A1, depending what comes with the combo you buy) you will need EF SiR axles or custom built axles for it. If you don`t want the hassle you need to get an intermediate axle from a 90-93 integra and use the axles from that car as well.
4) you will need a resistor pack so that you can convert from TPI (throttle point injection) to MPFI (multi port fuel injection).
5) you will need to pass a couple of wires for VTEC to work as well as for your "new" knock sensor.
When you go to an engine dealer, i.e. Osaka or Japan Imports...they will give you engine (from oil pan to valve cover), tranny, computer (the computer code should read PR3 or PW0). You will NOT receive any axles, and the TPS (throttle position sensor) will be broken when you get the engine.
If you are not mechanically inclined, patient, and willing to bitch....I suggest you have it done by a shop, especialy if this is your main car.
Definately speak to Rob at Laminar or Steph and Carl and Trac Racing before you make your choice/decision.
