Hey all a couple people suggested I come over here and check out this forum.
I'm on all the other forums under the same name -Clubloose, D-Faction, SlideNY and a few others. I'm in the process of putting together a drifting series at Monticello Motor Club for next seasn -details will be out soon.

Anyway I have been drifting for a few years and involved in the scene since about 2003 -back when CL started -I did not really start driving until 2008 when I purchased an FC.

This is how she sat at first -Bone stock with 60k on the clock -I was happy

Shortly later I got some wheels, coilovers, clutch and a diff -game on.

The 18" wheels looked great -but were no good for drifting -not enough power... so I got some 15x8" and ran small tires -worked great.

Then knuckles and tie rod ends (they are actually S13 rod ends lol )

Knowing I was going to do a major power upgrade and would need more tire -and also without thinking it through -I cut up my fenders and modded some 240z flares to fit -came out pretty good.

Time for power -got an LS2 and a T-101 4sp Dogbox

I then got the dumb -well maybe smart idea to tear every single wire out of the car -I then made an entire chassis harness and this guy from scratch:

Got it running -however I hurt the engine right away -never bead blast an aluminum oil pan... tough lesson.

So I drove it with the LS a handful of times and it was awesome -The engine was not hurt too bad at all -I noticed a drop in oil pressure and pulled the oil pan to fins debris and some blasting material -looks like I'm just going to have to clean everything really well -replace all bearings and I'm good to go.

And this is how she was sitting before I tore out the engine:

So while the engine is out I'm doing all the shit I wanted to do last year but did not have time.

Cage prep:

I have someone else doing the cage -I'm retarded and can't do that shit.

All the wiring is out -I changed everything over to weather pack connections. There are now basically 3 harnesses that do everything and come out super easy -all plug and play -every connection has a laser label on it... came out nice... I rewired literally every wire on the chassis.

Oh Hai Andrew!

Sick car Andrew, i wish i had an LS swap too Andrew, nice to have another Andrew on this forum, heh Andrew?

Andrew

BTW Good Job Andrew!

Nice car man. It should feel good sideways for sure. I saw it on RX7Club awhile ago but I didn't know the car had an LS swap.
