Is there something wrong with those cars ? I've been checking them out for a while on hebdo.net and they are cheap as hell and have low milleage. I mean a 97 type R with 125 000 will cost you more than a 95 300zx TT with 75 000 km.

If i'm not mistaking, the 300zx TT is an inline 6, twin turbo pumping out 283hp at the rear wheels in stock form. With power everything inside. Then why the ridiculous prices ?

I'd like to know a little more about the 300zx TT from you nissan guys and/or 300zx owners.

Thanks

you are going to get flamed

what are you crazy??????

a used 300zx twin turbo is over 25000
you are very mistaken, its a V6, two seconds and you could have figured that out
use google.

I think you really don't know nissan!!!
they are OVER 25000$ for a TT 90-93
a 94 and up with 75 000km will be far from 25000$!!!

What are you talking about ? Why would i get flamed ? All i'm saying is that those cars are cheap : A 94 300zx with 74 000km is selling for 19 998 $ right now on hebdo.net and i've seen lots of other 300zx TT with low mileage for less than 20 000 $ Why the hell are they so cheap ? Do they have reliability problems ?

Cuz if you compare the 300zx TT to cars in the same category like TT RX7s and Supras, the 300zx is downright cheap

why is that ?

this car have been the best in his category for 6 year (90 to 96)
they have more technologies than rx7, supra
this is the ''big problem'' if consider that big

Clutch: On turbocharged models ,the clutch may slip because the clutch-pedal return spring is too weak. (1990-91)

Fuel pump: Adding fuel-injector cleaner to the gas tank can cause corrosion on the fuel injector coils, which will eventually damage them. (1990-94)

Poor drivability: A problem with the power transistor causes drivability and idle problems, and there was a voluntary recall to replace it. (1990-93)

Power seat: The original power-seat switch sticks out and is often kicked and broken, but there is a revised switch with a shorter lever and stronger housing available. (1990)

Windows: The power windows may shudder during operation requiring revised window regulators (1990-91), or the windows may not operate due to dust building up in the main power window switch. (1990-92)

but i dont know why they are cheap but i prefer 300zx over type-r, supra, rx-7, mustang and MANY other cars
this is a classic japanese sport car it's a Z-car!!
héhé

Wait they aren't cheap.

Last time I shopped (during the summer before getting my 240) a nice manual tt would be worth more than 25000$

I've checked hebdo.net for fun

1990 300zx TT automatic
Prix: 17,500.00$

Nissan 300 ZX 1994 with 74 kkm for 19,998.00$ manual and a phone call will confirm this as being the NA model

Yeah you're right about the 74 000km one, it's an n/a model, my bad. But still, i've seen lots of them around 20 000$ and cheaper

Thanks alot for the information

the high maintenance cost is what makes them ''cheap'' on the market.

some friend is selling is 93 TT 5 spd for about $19k, he spent so much on it that he doesn't like it anymore...

Its a freakin classic but its a money pit trust me a freind of mine got one it look clean a 90 N/A but the clutch died like 3 months after the direction and a cam shaft it foked up . The worst part he never had the chance to push it a little , and not even takin it to the track. He wants to keep it but he's a stuburn bastard .

ok, moi la mienne c'est une 1990, mais pas TT
automatique, 150 000 km.
