i have never understood why kids always show off that they can overclcock, dont you think that itll ease your sale if you dont mention that you overclocked it? playing with voltages greatly reduces cpu, ram and mb life if oneself doesnt know what he is doing. not saying you dont know what youre doing, its just retarted to mention it, if you want to show off theres plenty of forums for that

oh and btw you are overpriced for a used computer like this one, so delete your thread, rewrite properly, reduce you price maybe then youll sel

and before you start blasting me here a little break down of your pc, without looking for specials its comes close to 1900$ on newegg.ca, shopping a bit can bring it to 1600-1700$

case 100$
i7 950 260$
xms3 12gb 137$
wd 89$
mb 269$
psu 199$
gpu 400$
dvd 20$
cooling 70$
screen 350$

A 4.3GHZ on a 950 is very standard and easy to acheive especially with a H70 cooler. CPUs are made to be OCed and unless you really go crazy you won't endanger your CPU or RAM or other stuff. I have a 920 DO step running at 3.7GHZ on air for the last year and it never had any issues whatsoever. Good parts, a little expensive however, and the 5970 is getting old, can get a GTX 570 for that price and a GTX 580 for a little more.

GL with the sale!

If you properly cool the components and overclock it, it won't really reduce the life of the components. I've ran overclock computers for years without any more hiccups. You just have to properly test stability and temperatures and you're good to go.

He's running an H70 in a case that has great cooling. So if he set everything right I don't see the problem.

but like you said, I would not pay 2400$ for this.

So If it can be had for $1600 why would anyone pay you $2400?

Used PC's are almost worth nothing. The industry moves to fast for parts to retain there value at all. It sucks for people trying to raise money, but its the fact. you will never sell this for anything over 2000... and 2000 is pushing it. Somethings that might help you sell,

1) Is your Windows legit? do you have the disks and code?
2) Other software? Office/photoshop etc.
3) toss up a photo... never hurts.

Good luck

oh man thats what I been sayin! it kills me these people on kijiji with old pent4 (lowend) still trying to sell them for $200 or $300 bucks! they still think that because they paid $1000 or even more bout 7 or 8 yrs ago are still worth outlandish prices! get with reality people! LOL

if you read what i wrote youll see that im against adverting to sell a pc that is ocverclocked, for various reasons, figure them out yourself. not that oc is bad in any way.
heres what i wrote if you have issue reading: 'playing with voltages greatly reduces cpu, ram and mb life if oneself doesnt know what he is doing. not saying you dont know what youre doing, its just retarted to mention it, if you want to show off theres plenty of forums for that'

theres absolutely no need that you explain to me what to and how to oc, ive been selling on a daily basis for 10 years now from cheap to high end computers.

A computer selling for over $2000 on MR... :yikes: not gonna happen man

You're better off parting it out

Hell, if anyone wants that kind of computer i'll build you a brand spanking new one and give you a three year warranty for the same price he's asking :)

i wish this guy luck on selling this pc cause i believe that it wont sell for over 2 grand maybe if it was like 1500$ instead it might sell but for what he is asking i would rather buy a used car for that amount

yeah 1400-1600 would sell it including the screen. and Nismobile. you always forget to add tax and shipping when you compare prices on stuff... do you magically not pay taxes and shipping or something?
