850$

I'd say about 700-800 TOPS.
I sold my asus g51 with exact same same specs for 800 about 5 months ago... And mine was barely a year old.
And asus price > gateway price

Actually the refurbished version of mine goes for about 700$ on tigerdirect...

That is retarded. You're linking him to a site with a price on the item which is clearly B/O. The price doesn't mean anything.

But yeah it might be worth a little less than he's asking for. Nonetheless, great performing laptop.
just because it's B/O doesn't negate the price! the price is still the price! and thats what they sell it at! he's asking way too much! your logic doesn't make any sense! stores run out of stock all the time! and because they do by your logic you can't compare prices? wtf is that?

Yours does not have the better processor. For threade apps yes. But not for gaming. I had the chance of putting a q9000 (2.0ghz quad) in my g51, or a t9900(3.06 dual) and the dual core had muchhhh better benchmarks in games. And you MIGHT sell yours at 800. Wont be a quick sale though. And won't be to anyoe who knows how todo the slightest bit of reasearch online...

P.s touchscreen typing fail. Too lazy to correct.

what I am saying is that since they don't have it in stock, there is a big chance that the price hasn't been updated for a while. So no, you cannot trust prices on things that are B/O.

it's like buying something that they can't have. Sure It's cheaper there, but what's the point if they can't have it.

Catch my drift?

The laptop is probably end of life right now so whatever.
