What size wheel and what size tire was he running?
Pricing generally tells you if its cheap.
I believe $500+ per wheel brand new is good quality.

J'aimerais bien, mais pas toute suite pcq je manque de moyens :p
What size wheel and what size tire was he running?
they were 19s not sure on tire size but they were 255 all around with a small sidewall.
For sure I would be scared to run 19s on profile 30-35 in Montreal (would need to run 36-37PSI). I think that 18" wheels is the maximum size for 'safe' driving. You can hit potholes and escape unscathed. This is the part where everyone running 19s tells me that I'm wrong because they don't have problems running 19s, but I suppose that dudeofchaos wants to be able to daily drive the car.
Anyway, if OEMconcept says that the wheels are good, then we can have faith in that. :)

Yeah, I will be daily driving them and 19 would look way to big on my car. Though I don't live downtown MTL, I'm in the subburbs so the roads aren't as bad but still bad.

Low pressure cast wheels, made in China, not bad wheels at all, but they will crack instead of bend. They are either really light, and very brittle, or really heavy, and solid.
Check their load rating, that'll give you an idea.
Their center cap is about the worst design I have ever seen.
