5S-FE engine

In the fall or maybe even winter i'm planning on buying a 92-93 celica with the 5S-FE motor. I don't know how many km's the car is gonna have on the odometer but it will have a lot thats for sure. I'm thinking of putting some money into the engine to restore it and maybe get some performance out of it (and make it shiny too ). What can be done to this engine?

Well theres 2 routes: Turbo the 5sfe or engine swap

I myself am going with the swap and am changing for the legendary 3sgte (Celica GT4, MR2 Turbo) and suggest you do the same. The swap will probably cost you the same as fixing up the 5sfe and turboing it and you'll have a newer engine as well. Another thing is the 3sgte responds well to boost meaning 300+ hp is attainable (or so im told).

yo NewRevolution what car do you have at the moment?

an corolla, but am planning on buying the celica this summer and doing the 3sgte swap. Been doing a LOT of research about it
