Hey dudes,

Selling my sister's old laptop.

It's a Asus w7s-B2b.

13.3in display
2.4Ghz Core 2 Duo
1.5GB Ram
Nvidia 8400m graphics
Intel WIFI
120GB, 7200RPM Seagate hard disk

Everything works great but it is showing signs of wear.
-Bezel around screen is cracked (not significant, still stays together, but visible)
-Magnesium top case has scratches (not major)
-Keys are somewhat faded and worn smooth
-Batteries do not work (you can pick one up for like 40 bucks)

Machine is very fast for normal stuff like docking around on the inter tubes and doing schoolwork and watching videos. Much more powerful than a netbook, far cheaper than a core i5 machine.

dude that is NOT worth $250 bucks! most it's worth in that condition is like a $100 bucks! jeezus nowadays U can get a dual core for $279 which does all you described! what are people thinking? seriously? you're just as bad as the morons posting ridiculous prices on kijiji for their out dated shit! now im not calling YOU a moron, just saying you gotta be a little more realistic on your price!

back in 2007 this was a 1300$ machine...
this was considered a good portable workstation with high quality parts and great build quality. especially for a 13.3" back then...
the only con this laptop had was how little ram it came with.

had it been in decent condition 250$ would of been a fine price.
but depending on how much of a rough shape it is 100-150 might indeed be more what it's worth.

this has been discussed numerous times in this thread (and others) and the fact of how much he paid for it 4yrs ago is irrelevant as the price of new tech is so low now and gets outdates so fast that the price u paid for it you cannot factore in, it sucks but thats the way it goes in computer world! LOL so no I would have to disagree with you that had it been in great shape it would have been worth $250... more like $175 MAX!

and admiral I didnt mean to bite your head off but it just kills me how many people over price thier outdated shit its crazy! LOL

in the 13.3" market you will not find anything comparable under $500.
the dual core you were talking about was a 15.6" fisher-price quality compaq with an AMD E-350 cpu.
this 2.4GHz core 2 duo runs faster then that E-350
yes tech gets outdated ultra fast if you buy the cheapest today and try to sell it later. but when you buy the TOP back then, you might still have a chance to sell it today.
therefore this machine, running XP. HAD it been in great shape. might have actually been able to get 250$ for it.

pics? BTW beman, 279$ laptops are no good. either AMD C-50 (1ghz dual core) or if you're lucky the E350 (1.6 dual core)

I would have taken this if it had HDMI out. A pity that it doesn't, with a good CPU and h264 decoding video card as well. If you don't mind the cosmetics, this is a great deal.
