3.5mm Male end is quite easy to find and surely addison, maddison, and access would surely carry them. But Female 3.5mm, is harder to find. (if you don't mind soldering on a new end, they are only $0.59 however)..

the one you sent me is male , female :(. I'm not in a hurry here is my situation, my ps3 is hooked up to my pc screen with a hdmi to dvi cable, but I have no sound because hdmi to dvi does not support sound. Therefore I want to use the original ps3 rca cable, only the sound L and R females to plug into what I am looking for than to my sound system with the auxiliary cable :)

I've seen the cable at Microbytes.... for like 5$

So auxilary input on sound system is a 1/8" (3.5mm) input ?

I went to 10 different stores near my school nobody had the :(

futurshop

ebgames
vi tesse
and other specialized pc stores, nobody had them, they all knew what i was talking about but they say its too old.
 
you will not find that at those stores listed.
you can however find it at maddison/addison or any other electronic components places.
i know Master-vox right off the jaque cartier bridge has some.
they are like 99C LOL
