WHAT SHOULD I DO,TURBO OR NOS

I got a d16z6 with neuspeed N2 headers, full cat back, and air intake..

I can get JG cams with adjustable cam gear for 150$US shipped, should I do it?

and in the spring should I get nitrous or turbo? If i get turbo it would be a home build since I dont have 5gs for a kits?

Count me in for help on your turbo, I've done two for myself already and helped my friend with his. I bet if we work all three we can make a nice kit for you for pretty cheap and if it works out good, we could build a kit for my next project to. 323Turbo looks like he knows a think or two about cars (to bad we didn't have time to talk more yesterday). By the way what are you running in your car 323Turbo, I'm considering getting a little 323 turbo myself (just for a everyday car) and would like to know what you did to run those boost numers. What did you change??? (fuel pump, injectors, intercooler, manual boost controler)

find a 323turbo in good shape 3500$
mx-6 intercooler from scrap yeard 100$
home made boost controller from adam 35$
ecu upgrade from Reich Racing 450$

you get a car that runs low 14's for under 4500$

Well I'm already looking for one (for winter car and everyday car) but that one on the hebdo is already gone (the hatchback) and I'm starting to look for one but can't find one for now. I guess I'll just keep looking but thanks for the info. Where would I get the ecu upgrade???

Just curious to know how far your gona take your car, whats your goal and how much $$ are you willing to spend will determine how far you can go...

now heres my idea per price range...

1000-2000$ a good nitrous kit, with install (depending on kit, direct, staged, wet or dry) its also the best bag for the buck. however, its must be used wisely (cough Tony

3000-4000$ theres more options... engine swap b20, b18c or ls/vtec ( havent seen one built properly) and you could spray a 50 shot... or but a prefab turbo kit...

4000$ + .... custom turbo, built bottom end (rods, pistons, sleeves, pining the cylinders, etc..) head work, and good electronic.. ie: hondata (cheep good value), dfi, motec...

as the saying goes... you will only go as fast as your walet lets you..
