civic-tantrum

hey everyone here's my little dilemma - i have a 1992 civic ex-v which means my stock engine is a d16z vtec - it's been mentioned to me to drop a b18b into my car but i lose my vtec coz its a non vtec engine - my queston is can i keep all the vtec wiring under my hood once the install then when i have enough money again make it a vtec by changing the head ? or should i wait and save up for a complete ls/vtec swap ?

my stock engine runs great but burns a little oil and since its an si engine in a 4 door sedan it really doesn't have that much kick

any advice for what i should do coz since its winter and i'm driving my accord i can drop my civic for whatever amount of time is neccessary for the swap

thanks for the help in advance

a project is always best to do it one shot IMO i would wait to have the cash to do the complete LS/VTEC swap instead of makign things standing there to be played with later
