Just got a 2000 Teg SE. I'm on quite a fixed budget but wanna fix it up a little. Whats a good inexpensive way to start. Like euro brake lights, or clear front flasher lights, etc... and where's the best place to buy this stuff in montreal....i'm a noob to the scene, any advice would be great..thanks

If you're on a fixed budget, then you're not going to want to dump money into Euro brake lights or clear front flasher lights. Those mods will add nothing to the overall driving experience of your Integra. Hit up RMR in St. Laurent, and pick up a Version 1 AEM Cold Air Intake for your car. Either that, or invest in some lowering springs and elimate that terrible stock-looking wheel gap that I'm assuming you sport in the summer time.

But ultimately its your money. If you really like the look of those Euro lights, then by all means pick up a set. Unfortunately I can't help you out on where they sell such accessories.

WHAT HE SAID .

or u can wait and save ur money , then when u have a large enough amount then decide where to invest

BTW: i had my teg for over two years and i still didnt put a head unit in it,i'm still on the crappy tape deck from acura. it all depends where u priority's are

i was just giving examples cause i dont really know where to start. i want to build up the car slowly, just not sure what steps to take. thanks for the advise.

well listen , u have to help us a little if u want help. give us an idea of what aspect of the car u wanna do first? u into engine mods , body mods ,suspension mods, whats ur fettish lol

whats your budget??
what do you want style and/or performace?
go for mags, exhaust, cold air intake and drop to start. you dont have to put alot of mods on a teg....just keep it clean

definitly looks first, i think the springs are a good start, then rims. budget is to be determined. maybe around $800 from now till summer, unless i sell my bike, hopefully i can get a couple grand. I know it's not much, but i'll have to make do. maybe some second hand rims, i dont even know how much the springs go for...but style is the priority.

hope u guys dont mind a couple more questions;

whats a good size rim for teg's ? (i dont want it looking odd like i've seen some)
how do you determine the spring height ?

i need a tutorial...

well guy esthetics aren't my department, but for the rims i would go for 17's if ur going for looks. if u buy springs ur drop most prolly wont be more than 2", on the other hand if u get adj.coils u can play between 0"- 4" usually. and just my opinion -------> i would lay off the stupid little gadgets : leds, stickers , different color badges, u know all that crap that makes ur car look like a christmas tree

anyways good luck

if you want look, then drop it 2" with good springs, put some 17" rims, add a type r lip(Metalflake does some for cheap) and your have a good start. but it depend on what you want your end product to be

but plz, keep it simple and clean. that way you'll always like it. if you put that jet-supersonic-octane-spyder boduy kit, and paint the car a bright purple metalflake, you may like your car for a while, but you won't like it for years.

keep it simple and clean!

i like the original look of the car, so like u said, i'm gonna keep it simple. i have another newbie question; what do u guys do in the winter, i mean about the ride height, do u swap the springs everytime winter and summer come around ?
thanx

he bro id like to know what are the price for lips (type r:painted)???? give me an idea plz thx!!

the smoother oem shock/springs are better for snow driving and with more ground clearance, you won't be stuck in snow. or just got a cool winter beater.... 500$ of pure winter pleasure of doing everything in a car that's hold with some tie wraps.....

pm metalflake on that, but if i remember right, i think he sell them for around 150$. they are fiberglass, but they have real flexibility in them. great quality! for a nice body kit, you can also buy the rest of the oem skirt kit. always nice.
