*HELP* G2 integra parking light SOUND!

My winter car, 91 integra GS began making a noise today out of the blue sitting outside my house. The car was totally off. I started the car and the sound went away.

The sound sounds very similar to a horn, it's a buzzing sound.

Now, I just got home from driving my friend home and while I was driving the sound came back all of a sudden. I pulled over and continued to try to get rid of the sound. I popped the hood and narrowed the sound down to my corner driver side light. It was vibrating the whole housing and creating the buzzing sound. Again, this is quite loud, as loud as a horn.

I was wondering does anyone know of any electrical problems that might cause this? defects? related stories? anything.

Details:
-I have no alarm, just kill switch linked to the horn.
-that particular light has been burnt out for a while now
-the sound remains when the car is off (ie electrical)

I'm going to look at it first thing tommorow morning, i was standing in the cold freezing just now. anyone have a quick rightup to get that light out?

wtf while its off? if the sound was there only while it was on id say well maybe the housing was not well hooked and it touches the body which is being vibrated by the engine... but this is by far the weirdest ive read on any board thus far

i could be ur horn that shorted out , although i'm not sure it's behind the headlight. i had a similar problem with my civic hatch 91 , the horn shorted out so i ripped the wires off it

I don't think it's the horn, because I am still able to press use the horn. It's an alternative sound, much like an electrical current inducing vibration causing a sound. In other words like how a light bulb buzzes but MUCH much louder.

Like I said I'll take a look tommorow....but if it doesn't work, man I feel like that guy who had his horn hooked up to his brakes, except it's on ALL THE TIME, even when it's off!!! I disconnected the battery for tonight.

what finally happened ddue? sounds like your horn was just starting to short out...thsi happened to me....was shit shit shit! Same thing was able to press horn and it worked but was allways on basically really low...opnly let that shit go on till I got home! man actually I pulled over half way disconected the damn fuse...last thing I need is it shorting out and my car catching on fire.....
