Have you ever gotten lucky at a scrapyard?

I'm curious to see if any of you has ever searched for 5sfe parts or 3sgte parts at a scrapyard. Would it be hard to find a 3sgte head in a scrapyard?

i'm sure you would have no trouble whatsoever to find that head in the Montreal Area or Perhaps as far as Quebec City, but the question is...what willl need to be done to it??? Almost certainly valve seals, maybe it will need to be faced. My trick is when you call a scrap yard and they say they don't have a certain part ask them for somebody who might. If the next guy does not have it them ask him if HE can refer you to anyone. Guaranteed by your third or fourth call you got your part.
