haha lots of good projects here! i'm sure some of them will happen in the future :D

the fun part is $20,000 isn't that hard to obtain.

If you are racing those classes you obviously have some skill

Ive seen that Firebird at TLC a few times and it really has a hardtime in the corners compared to other cars, but its still pretty damn quick
 
i would buy a ford festiva and transform it into a SHOgun,for those who dont know what is a shogun its a festiva with a rear mounted SHO v6 made by ford in 1990.

1993 festiva=1000$
SHO engine/sho taurus=3000$
fitting the engine =5000$
roll cage=1000$
tune the engine to make it rev to 8500rpm=5000$
change suspension geometrie/racing suspension=5000$

so we have a firebird of indeterminate year and "race setup", being beaten by an accent....and yet this doesn't seem fishy to you given that we have all seen firebirds beat m3's and the like....which is why i am asking about the drivers. given equal drivers, with the latest gen firebird, that won't happen. So anyways, I am forced to conclude that either the car, or the driver, sucks.

It was a 3rd gen race car

I think the Vette is closer to M3 rather then the firebird.

i know someone is doing a frame on a cavy and swap a 454 in is cavy .. haha drag beast :D and i think he have 100k to spend in this .. but .. i dont know how much he spend ..

Buy a ~ 10k Mustang GT 1993, put 10k of motor mods and you have a 500hp\500tq-lb car.. unlike the ricer skyline.
