Looking for a good first car for about 6-7k

Time to buy my first car in a month:)
I'm looking for ideas of what to buy
I was looking at old BMW or Audis but the insurance is going to be crazy for a 16 yr old guy...
so maybe a prelude or something?

my budget is under 7000$
please help:)

i don't want a civic or anything (no hate)
but something nice for a first car than i can maybe work on as i get more money

jpenser jors une vielle bmw ou audi mais l'assurance va etre debile pour un gars de 16 ans.
mon budjet c moin ke $7000

jveut po qqchose comme un civic mais dekoi de bon pour un premier char ke jpourrait travailler dessus pi modifier dans le futur (no rice):p
 
MEILLEUR conseil a vie :

ton premier char achete toi une vidange
parce que c'est sur que tu vas le planter ou au moins accrochages

ca fait partie de lapprentissage

tes mieux de scrapper une vidange qu'un beau char qui ta couté cher


je sais que tu ne suivras pas mon conseil mais au moins je te laurai dit =)
 
Stay away from BMW or Audi with a $7000 budget. Those kinds of cars retain their value very well so to find one under $7000 would mean it's in very poor condition which will consequently mean more money will need to be spent on repairs.

At $7000, get something more reliable as opposed to "fun". A Honda Cvivic or a Toyota-anything would be smart. But if you want the most bang-for-your-buck, get an American... their value drops super fast so for under $7000, you might get a nice Dodge SX2.0 or something.

Toyota and honda keep their value more (if not more) than bmw. For 7k you can get a clean bmw E46 or E39 with some mileage, or a really nice e36.
 
combien de personnes j'ai vu s'acheter genre une auto de 3-4ans financée sur 5 ans avec des gros paiements d'assurances pour simplement la scrapper après 1 an et demi....... beaucoup ! et je parle pas de la battre et faire le cave ici.......

ensuite tes primes d'assurances augmentent, etc

commence avec.. ok peut etre pas une VIDANGE
mais met pas trop d'argent sur ta premiere auto

meme si tu fais attention, cest quand meme ta premiere auto... tu vas apprendre

You could buy my 2000 Acura 1.6 EL.... It's under your budget and in really good shape. A/C, power windows and locks, heated mirrors, winter tires included too. Insurance is cheap also, I pay 36$ per month with allstate (Full coverage).

c sur jva faire un peut le cave avec mais jabusera po si jpaye bcp
jveut qqchose de reliable qui est aussi performante
je naime po americain
sois euro ou japonais
jai trouver des bmw et audi pour jors 6-7k mais l'assurance va etre trop cher
 
Oublie ca BMW et Audi pour 7K.

VW, Honda, Toyota, Nissan, Subaru, modele de base recent(comme ca tu peut aller chercher une plus recent et moins de KM pour le meme prix), propre, bien entretenu, tu te trompera pas!
 
everyones first should be a cheap under a thousand dollar beater, Toyota coorolla, celica from 90s. Old german cars are stupid expensive to repair n theyre as unreliable a they come unless its pre 1994 n even then everything on an old bmw for example is a grand to fix LOL. Buy a Subaru wrx or outback. Acura TL Type S, Lexus LS if you like luxury but no German car without warranty unless its diesel and driven in summers here only.

Go with anything from the domestic Small 3. With their uncertainty and unpopular products try to get the newest year with the lowest mileage possible.

Basically you have a budget of $5,000, the other $2,000 would be for maintenance and bringing the car up to spec such as brakes, tires and tune-up etc

Good models would be:
1. Saturn: L1,L2, SC2, Ion etc
2. Pontiac: G3, Grand Am, Grand Prix etc
3. Oldsmobile: Aero, Intrigue etc
4. Chrysler: SX200
5. Mitsu: Lancer 2003-2006
 
une bonne Corolla S... tu te trompe pas avec une Toyota.. c'est pas ce qui a de plus le fun mais au moins c'est tough

dans les char fun tu peux penser a une Mustang 5.0... mais t'es jeune alors tu dois croire que tous les chars américains c'est de la marde

une Volkswagen VR6 (Golf/Jetta)
