good job miranda, but you seem a little dry when you talk imo. you don't look like you're enjoying what you're doing (even though you probably are)

Superb review, on par with what I have read elsewhere. Great work Miranda!

The only glitch, the last sentence:

"The RX-8 might not have all the high-tech gadgetry of today's car..."

Well, the RX-8 is by far, one of the most advance cars in is category: Forged aluminium double-wishbone in front, multi-link rear (all mounted on beefy subframes), PPF brace, aluminium hood/trunk, the unique Renesis 13B, 6-speed with mechanical "1.5"-way LSD, big brakes and so on... The only thing is doesn't have is the flashy quad/twin-piston calipers lile the PP 370Z, wich the RX-8 doesn't need because of is lower weight. Hell, even is race trim, guys doesn't upgrade the caliper/disk sizes!

I love the RX8 R3 !!! the wheels are amazing, rotor shaped !!!
and the seat a really confortable, being race-inspired Recaro leather seats !!

its funny cause last night on BBC it was a replay of an old Top Gear episode, where Clarkson test drives the RX8.
the stig managed to do the track in 1:31.8 , the exact same time as a BMW M3. and a 350Z. ( but costs 7000 Pounds less !!)

Good review, But the RX-8 always had a rotary engine...
RENESIS rotary engine, it has multi-side port injection.
its not the same as previous rotary engine (RX7 and previous).
she's just babbling stuff that some writers probably told her to say !!!

i think she meant high tech gadgetry like the radar guided cruise control, keyless operation, etc. you know, the stuff that the s-class or 7-series usually introduce when a new model comes out. i might be wrong tho.

btw what's the point of reviewing a car that came out years ago?

1- I think the 8 now came standard with the key fob since the 09 update.

2- The R3 is a part of the 2009 update/facelift, and a new 09 model. So not that old lol!

Hey guys! Thanks so much for watching the video and for all the feedback.

Yes, I meant that it doesn't have all the fancy gadgets inside (radar-guided cruise, nav screen, etc.).

And I'm stiff coz it's my 3rd video ;-) Hehehe I promise to relax a little soon ... and I'll keep in mind my wardrobe in the future too!!

This is actually a 2010 model ... and I know that RX-8s have always had the rotary, I said that ... but the way it's cut and scripted it sounds like I said it was new to this model. It ain't! :-p

We'll get the hang of the filming ... promise. It's new for me and the cameraman ... we're not quite Top Gear yet ... but we'll get there!

    Thanks again guys!!!

Oh, and another thing - I am wearing a seat belt!! I just have the upper half behind me because it interferes with the mic on my shirt if I wear it properly!

And as for the speeding ... it looks faster than it is! ;-)
